Speakers & Moderators

Dr. Mo received his medical degree from the Yale School of Medicine in 2004. He completed his internal medicine residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2007 and his hematology/oncology fellowship training at the National Capital Consortium (Walter Reed/National Naval Medical Center) in 2010. He is board certified in hematology and medical oncology. Prior to joining the Jerome Lipper Multiple Myeloma Center at Dana-Farber in 2019, Dr. Mo spent 15 years as an active duty physician and officer in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He spent over six years as a hematologic malignancy specialist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, where he served as the autologous stem cell transplant program director and inpatient oncology medical director. He is also a veteran of the Operation New Dawn campaign of the Iraq War, where he received the Army Commendation Medal and was inducted into the Order of the Spur by the 5th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, for his service as a medical officer. Dr. Mo has over a decade of experience in treating patients with multiple myeloma. His clinical interests include novel therapeutics, the innate immune system and tumor microenvironment, autologous stem cell transplantation, and minimal residual disease detection.
